drew de pinto is a filmmaker, editor, and visual artist whose work explores the intersections of liberation movements, performance art, and queer/trans communities in the past, present, and future. they enjoy experimenting with genre and form in ways that embrace expressionism, collaboration, and collective imagination.
drew’s work has been featured on the new yorker, PBS, and art21. their short film compton’s ’22 was recognized by the international documentary association and the british film institute. they have worked for clients including XTR, A&E, optimist, vox, and insignia films.
